I grew up in diverse environments and am fascinated with how much culture can teach us about the commonality of humanity manifested within our uniqueness.  In other words, I feel that the more you contact you have with people who are different than you shows you how much we really are all alike.  I’m random person at times and according to my self diagnoses, I have ADD.  To go along with my ADD tendencies, are many different hobbies. Here’s just a few:

  • Former aggressive inline skater [I stopped after my surgery!]
  • Former computer nerd [that was before I used Swagger from Old Spice]
  • Turntablist/Battle DJ [you ever see the movie "Juice"? ... that's me]
  • Amateur photographer [I'm still on film but I really think I need to switch]
  • Failed poet [I just stick to the random haiku these days ... they are kinda therapeutic] 
  • Portuguese speaker [I am conversational now but still make embarrassing mistakes]
  • World traveler [not really, mainly because I have a limited budget]
My digital imprint is all over the net.  You can find me on Facebook and MySpace a if you Google stalk me, I’m apparently the only 1 of 2 Lonny Gomes’s in the world (the other being my dad).  I also have an Orkut account as well, but it seems that only Brazilians are using Orkut these days.  Now that I have a blog, I’m bordering on information overload.  It’s getting to the point where it’s just almost too much to handle.
