Music
Music is one of those things that means something different to different people. It’s overwhelming to even attempt to fathom the volume and vast variety of music that is out there. Yet even with the seemingly infinite quantity of genres and sub-genres, I feel that there is still a certain commonality to it all. Something that really interests me is finding that commonality in the unlikely confluence of sound.
The idea of a “mash up” is nothing new, but what I’m referring to is something more than just when a rock group and rapper collaborate. I attempt to explore this “commonality” with what I like to call “concept mixes”. The following are some mixes I’ve made and a few original compositions. I have many more ideas that I have yet to record.
