I’ve decided to switch to a blog format. I feel like this new format is more conducive to updates. In fact, this is the first update to the site in literally almost 2 years. The old site was poorly hacked together and everything was hardcoded. With this new format, I can easily make updates, even from my phone.

I created the first version of the site in 2006. Back then I was writing a lot, I had just started getting into photography and had begun to learn Portuguese. Sadly, I haven’t kept up with my writing or photography but I have stuck with the Portuguese. I plan to use this blog as an output for my randomness be it, photos, poems, my weird ideas or what have you.

I added some of the content that I had on the old www.lonnygomes.com, including some of my haiku and miscellaneous poems that I wrote back then (wrote that stuff in 2006 so don’t judge! haha!)! But oh well, today is a new day and much as changed since 2006. Anyway, welcome to my blog.
