The following is a few things I’ve written which are amateur at best. Much of my work is still in hard copy format, and even more of it is not worth posting. A lot of this was written back in 2006 when I used to be into doing things like carrying a notepad around and reading Hughes Langston.  To be honest, I don’t write as  much anymore, but since I’ve decided to revive this site, maybe I’ll revive my “writing” as well.  So perhaps there will be more entries to come!

Haikus

The only reason why I call these haikus is because they all follow the 5-7-5 pattern. One day I actually read what a “real” haiku should consist of and I was completely off the mark. I carry a notepad around and writing these “haikus” is something I just started doing while waiting in line at grocery stores and what not. They are crazy random so don’t ask for any explinations … they are what they are. The following are those that I actually decided to post. I have easily twice as many that didn’t make the cut.

Poems

A few years back I definitely had a Saul Williams phase where I thought I wanted to get into spoken word poetry.  I never really got too deep into it, but I did start writing poetry.  Most of it was horrible, and there really isn’t *much* that I’m willing to let the world see!  Anyway, below is a link to some of the poetry I’ve written.
